Lauren Thompson

Lauren uses her MAPP degree to help increase resilience and well-being of self, team, and organizations as Business Development Consultant for the Gallup organization. She also enjoys coaching high school varsity girls’ basketball and teaching as an Assistant Instructor at University of Pennsylvania. Prior to answering her call to educate, Lauren worked in the private sector as a medical sales representative. Currently, Lauren is finishing her doctoral course work at Loyola University-Chicago in Curriculum, Communities and Culture, where her interests center on the reform of pre-teaching undergraduate education programs to include culturally sustainable resilience education. Lauren’s interests in teaching people to be the best versions of themselves have informed her own educational journey. She holds a Masters in Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, a Masters in Educational Leadership from Purdue University, and a Bachelors in Biology from Wittenberg University.
