Shikha Ms Soni
Shikha Soni is an RCI licensed Clinical Psychologist, currently a Doctoral Research Scholar in Psychology in Department of Liberal Arts at Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, India. She has completed her M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology from Central Institute of Psychiatry, Ranchi, Graduation and Post-graduation in Psychology from Delhi University. She has dealt with various disorders and their treatment. She has been trained in various psychological testing like psycho diagnostics, intelligence tests, neuropsychology and other tests (disability/psychopathology) and therapies like cognitive behaviour therapy, behaviour therapy, supportive therapy, marital/family therapy and various other therapies. She has worked as Senior Research Fellow in Department of Clinical psychology in NIMHANS hospital, Bangalore in a project studying Cognitive behaviour therapy in partial responders with OCD: a randomized controlled trail. Her research interests bridge the areas of positive, social, personality, and clinical psychology. Her research focusses on positive psychology, cognitive behaviour therapy in anxiety disorder, mental health, psychotherapy processes and outcome. Currently her Ph.D. research work is in the field of Positive Psychology under the guidance of Dr. Amrita Deb (Assistant Professor) Department of Liberal Arts, Indian Institute of psychology, Hyderabad India.
