In the contemporary world the prime emphasis of an educational institution is on discipline centred education where the main aim is achieving good marks. However, as students at schools, colleges, and universities face a mental health crisis, it is becoming quite clear that the current paradigm of education is incomplete. There is a neglect of the strengths required to cope with the numerous challenges in life. Positive education is a new approach which aims at blending academic learning with well-being. A framework was developed by the researcher to infuse positive education in her institution. The framework consisted of three stages: in the first stage teachers were given training through a program on positive education. In the second stage students were given training through a program on Self-positive. In the third stage these teachers and students formed groups and worked on research projects on positive psychology and they were provided a platform to present their work at a national paper presentation competition. Hence, this framework can act as a building block to infuse the tenets of positive psychology in educational institutions.
