Berni Cooper
Berni is the Strategic Lead, Career Development & Engagement within the Student Success Group at Queensland University of Technology and is also a coach, presenter and facilitator. She brings together knowledge in Cognitive and Positive Psychology, Education and Career Development Learning to influence innovative strategic directions at QUT. She has worked in partnership to develop a number of initiatives at QUT and across other Australian universities to enhance staff and students’ resilience and employability skills: a program to enhance staff and student resilience (www.enhancingresilience.com), an online growth mindset module and associated workshops; peer coaching programs; a university-wide Career Development Learning Framework and online Employ Your Ability experiential learning modules. Berni holds a Master of Applied Positive Psychology, Bachelor of Social Sciences (Psychology) Hons, various Higher Education Teaching and Coaching certificates and her top character strengths are honesty, creativity and humour.
