Toby Bartle
Toby Bartle is a Provisonally Registered Psychologist and PhD Candidate at James Cook University, Cairns, QLD, Australia. Toby is an experienced clinician having worked in mental health, disabilities and education for the last 10 years and he is also passionate researcher with an interdisciplinary research focus in education and neuroscience at James Cook University. Alongside my PhD studies, He remains actively involved with the Health Psychology and Behavioural Medicine Research Group at Curtin University in Western Australia. His on-going involvement in research continue to inform and improve his work as a and clinician, which thrives on his ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines, proactively identify process improvements, deliver clinically relevant training modules and produce peer reviewed academic outputs. This involvement has led to an in-depth level of knowledge on behavioural interventions, maintaining behaviour change and sociocultural influences of key developmental mechanisms like stress, motivation and executive function in child and adolescent populations.
