Jan Elston
Jan works for Relationships Australia Qld as the WOW Support Program – Project Manager, funded by the Queensland Mental Health Commission. The aim of Jan’s work is support the uptake of the Wheel of Wellbeing (WOW) across Queensland, enabling individuals, families, organisations and communities to improve their positive mental health and to thrive and flourish. Prior to this, Jan worked with partners across all sectors to establish the Mental Health and Wellbeing Hub for Logan and the Southern Moreton Bay Islands, also funded by the Queensland Mental Health Commission, as part of their Promotion, Prevention and Early Intervention Plan.
Jan has a BA (Hons) and has undertaken post-graduate studies in Inter-professional Health and Community Studies. She is a certified trainer and has been trained as an Advanced WOW practitioner, verified by the South London and Maudsley NHS Trust to deliver WOW training. She has worked for over 25 years in the fields of individual, team, organisational and community development and community education. She has a passion for learning and for sharing the knowledge that we all have the potential to enhance our happiness and wellbeing and to flourish in life.
