Andrew A Parsons

Dr Andrew A Parsons a background in scientific and business innovation with over 30 years’ experience in the Life Sciences Industry. His initial degrees were in Pharmacology with post-doctoral work specialising in cerebral blood flow and metabolism. He led scientific innovation in migraine and stroke research at SmithKline Beecham and subsequently GlaxoSmithKline. As an Executive leader he was involved in several business units and multicultural partnerships across a variety of organisations. Through his leadership experiences he became interested in the power of coaching in enabling change. Andrew has been coaching within organisations since 2008 at professional and executive levels. He is a certified Professional Medical Coach, co-created an accredited coaching training programme within the Association of Coaching (Salutogenic Coaching) and is a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council. He works with clients with chronic medical conditions including Cancer and was involved in developing the coaching service at the Fountain Centre, a charity within the St Luke’s Cancer Unit at the Royal Surrey County Hospital. The charity runs a coaching service for patients and carers. He has recently completed a Master’s degree in Psychology
