There is no better place to positively affect the well-being of large numbers of people than to change the culture of the organizations they work for. With most of us spending a minimum of 40 hours a week at work, creating a place that enhances well-being is critical for the positive health of most people. Yet there are questions of how organizational culture can be changed toward the positive. Based on 18 years of work with organizations, applying the principles of positive organizational scholarship can effect the culture of an organization both from a top-down and bottom-up approach, through a series of workshops based on specific positive psychology practices. Using evidence from consultation and training with small companies to multinational organizations, for profit and not-for-profit, cases will be offered to build a compelling framework of learning that changes how leaders and employees act and eventually change the culture of their organization.
