Madrid where she lectures in strengths-based leadership.
She holds a Masters in Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and
a PhD from the University of Otago, New Zealand where she has conducted wellbeing
research with school and university students. She has served on Committee for the
International Positive Psychology Association and is an NZAPP Executive Committee
Member. Her work has been published in international academic journals and edited
Denise's primary interest is the effective translation of research into practical, appropriate
strategies for education and the workplace and having the right measures to track progress
in these environments. Her advocacy for culturally relevant wellbeing work enlivens her
work with senior executives from global organisations and universities and schools with
indigenous and multi-cultural populations.
