Jenna L. Wells 6th World Congress on Positive Psychology 2019

Jenna L. Wells

Jenna Wells is a third year graduate student in the clinical psychology doctoral program at the University of California, Berkeley, under the mentorship of Dr. Robert Levenson. She received her B.S. from Tufts University, and later worked at Massachusetts General Hospital studying amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. For the past 2 years, she has been collaborating with Dr. Barbara Fredrickson, investigating her theory of positivity resonance. Jenna’s research aims to elucidate the factors accounting for individual differences in outcomes for caregivers of patients with neurodegenerative disease. She is interested in the biopsychosocial benefits of sharing positive emotions in dyadic contexts, and ultimately leveraging this knowledge to address caregiver burden and psychopathology. She is currently a fellow in the NIH T32 predoctoral training consortium in affective science.
