Lanxi Huang is a PhD candidate at the Centre for Positive Psychology, University of Melbourne. She previously completed her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Masters’ degree in education (coursework and research). She also has experience in psychological counselling and high school teaching. Lanxi Huang has conducted research on a range of topics, including child development, children with special needs, psychological traits and students’ academic performance, aged care, TESOL teachers’ professional development, and international education. Her current research focuses on wellbeing, wellbeing language, international education, and tertiary education, with specific emphasis on how Chinese international students conceptualize and language used about wellbeing.
