Chris Giebe

As an Occupational Health Psychologist, Chris has been a research assistant and PhD candidate at Johannes Gutenberg-University of Mainz since 2016. His research focuses on challenging demands in the workplace, and their relationship to employee well-being and health. As part of a federally funded research team, he specifically researches career transitions as stressors and their effects on health. Prior to his PhD research, Chris received a Master’s Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Salem State University in Massachusetts. He has also worked as a psychology research fellow at the Fraunhofer Center for Sustainable Energy Systems in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
